The District VR

DJ set and UI

TDVR is a party district in Virtual Reality with real people, artists, DJs and clubs. A decentralized world combining VR and blockchain technology to enable DJs and musicians to perform shows and for people from anywhere in the world and of any cultural background, color, age or gender to host or partake in live events, DJ-shows and concerts together in an ever-changing metaverse.

In the development of this game did I develop an integration of Amazon Web Services to Unreal Engine 4 to allow a communication between the user and the server services. In addition did we create a system which dynamically creates a new session and assigns the user if the previous session is full, but still being able to hear the DJ.

Because we want the user to be able to modify his songs as much as a real DJ is able to, we had to extend Unreal Engine to be able to handle multiple sound busses. My responsibility in the development of that functionality was to build the integration of our plugin and to refactor the code from our sound engineer. The development of the UI to work with in Unreal Engine and the loading of external music and sounds was also my responsibility.

Additionally to these duties have I been involved in the development of the player interactions on the DJ set and with other users, as well as the development of the game UI.
